Delete Your Carmic AI Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Carmic AI (package com.carmicai.carmic), published by Phlite Software LLC. It applies to the Carmic AI mobile app, the Windows desktop app, and the carmicai.com web portal.

To request deletion, email privacy@carmicai.com from the address associated with your shop, with the subject line "Delete my data".

Carmic accounts are issued to a collision repair business, not created by individual users, so deletion requests are verified with the shop before anything is removed.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@carmicai.com with the subject "Delete my data".
Include your shop name and, if you are requesting deletion of specific records rather than the whole account, the repair file numbers concerned.
We confirm the request with an authorised contact at the shop. This protects the shop's records from deletion by a former employee.
We confirm in writing once deletion is complete.

You can also delete most content yourself from inside the app at any time, without contacting us: individual photographs, individual repair files, and voice notes can be deleted directly in the Carmic AI app or web portal.

What is deleted

Account details: name, email address, and phone number.
Photographs, 360 captures, and AR markout images you have uploaded.
Voice notes and their transcriptions.
Repair files, vehicle details, and estimate data associated with the account.
Location data embedded in photograph metadata.
App activity and diagnostic records tied to the account.

Deleted items are removed from active systems immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.

What is retained, and for how long

A small amount of data may be retained after deletion where we are required or permitted to keep it:

How long it takes

We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request.
